Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has enforced new travel restrictions. MPIF is monitoring the situation closely. At this time, we anticipate that travel will be reinstated before the conference, but please take this into consideration when booking your travel. Visit the Public Health Authority of Canada for more information.
MPIF is taking precautions to ensure the health of all event participants and we are consulting the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization (WHO) and local health authorities in Canada and the United States.
With the situation evolving rapidly, we also encourage WorldPM2020 attendees, vendors and staff to consult these sources as they prepare for the event.
With this in mind, MPIF will be instituting ongoing and new protocols towards the health and safety of our attendees. We will again have the hand sanitizer stations placed around the venue for easy use by attendees; we will institute a “No Handshake Policy” and promote the fist or elbow bump; and increase cleaning and disinfection practices across all high-volume touchpoints, including catering areas, podiums, microphones, registration desk, handrails, entrance/exit doors, among others.
This page will be updated weekly.
Many airlines are allowing travelers to book their flights with confidence by waiving change fees on new flights booked by March 31. Please be sure to check with your airline for rules and restrictions.
